What book are you recommending right now?
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune -- I was late to the party, but oh, how happy I am to keep it going.
If your story beast had a form, what would it be?
I'm spending SO MUCH TIME thinking about this! Okay, my storybeast would be: A griffin carved from starlight. Flickering, iridescent feathers, she glides through pale dawns, barely stirring the air as she takes in the world below through ancient eyes. She drinks in the pauses between breaths, sings the sound of a cello, and stokes an internal fire that will burn for eternity. In the background, "Dawn" by Garth Stevenson plays.
If you could meet one story character, who would it be and why?
To be clear, I would not be cool enough for most of my story heroes, but let's go YA: I'd love to meet Nina Zenik from Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. She'd find us some mean waffles and I know we'd die laughing.
