What book are you recommending right now?

Blood Debts by Terry J. Benton-Walker, Last of the Talons by Sophie Kim, and The Whispering Dark by Kelly Andrew. In terms of craft, I love Sin and Syntax by Constance Hale.

If your story beast had a form, what would it be?

Despite writing a dragon book, my favorite mythological creature is a mermaid, so I'd love to be a mermaid with a tail with vibrant pink scales and a gold bikini top. My theme song is "About Damn Time" by Lizzo. When I show up, the party begins, but sometimes I get lost along the way and need help from my agent to find my way back to the heartbeat of my story. But whether it's walking on land or diving the deepest sea, I can and will do it all with determination and aplomb!

If you could meet one story character, who would it be and why?

Gansey from The Raven Boys. Because he needs a hug so badly.
